What about a dormant company I have on Xero?

If you own a dormant NZ company sitting on Xero with no active trading, you have a few options:

  • Move it to a free Afirmo organisation - no subscription, no filings, just historical reference. When the company starts trading again, you can upgrade to a paid plan.
  • Keep it on Xero until you actually need to file something for it
  • Wind it up via the Companies Office if you have no plans to trade through it again
