Subcontractors paid through Hnry

If you pay subcontractors who use Hnry, you do not need to set up withholding tax on them in Afirmo.

Hnry handles all withholding tax obligations on their end. In Afirmo, code the payment as a Subcontractor expense. The full amount you paid is your business cost.

For subcontractors not on Hnry, schedular payment rules may apply depending on the industry. Some sectors (construction, particular labour types) require schedular tax deductions regardless. If in doubt, ask via live chat.
