How do I apply and get an ACC number?

ACC creates an account for a self-employed person or employer using information received from Inland Revenue. If the business needs help locating or establishing its ACC account, use MyACC for Business or contact ACC.

After ACC issues the number, add it to the correct Afirmo organisation. The ACC number identifies the levy account. The BIC or Classification Unit describes the business activity and helps determine levies.
