A New Zealand GST number uses the taxpayer's IRD number. Open the current GST or business-profile area in Afirmo, enter the number for the registered person or entity, and record the GST registration details shown in myIR.
Do not add a GST number to an organisation that is not registered. Confirm the registration date, filing frequency and accounting basis because these affect the returns Afirmo prepares.
