Connecting Stripe to Afirmo

Stripe payment collection is free on every Afirmo plan. Once connected, customers pay invoices directly via Stripe and the payments reconcile automatically.

To connect:

1. Go to Sales > Settings
2. Find Payment Methods
3. Click Connect Stripe
4. Sign in to your Stripe account (or create one if needed)
5. Authorise Afirmo to access your Stripe account
6. Once connected, the Pay Now button appears automatically on every sent invoice

When a customer pays via Stripe:

• Payment lands in your Stripe account
• Stripe transfers the net amount (after their processing fee) to your linked bank
• The deposit reconciles against the original invoice automatically, with the Stripe fee recorded as a Bank fees expense

If your customers also pay via PayPal, that connects through the standard Akahu bank feed once PayPal is linked to your bank.
